I'm in the market for a new digital camera since its been years since I last upgraded.

When it comes to cameras I'm not very familiar with all the technology and what I should be looking for.

I'm looking for a camera with a good zoom feature, high mega-pixel shots and can capture video in 720p and with any other extras.

I've had my eyes set on the Panasonic [Lumix][1] range, but as there are several I'm not sure of which one I should purchase.

My budget is £250/$390, can you push me in the right direction as to what to purchase?

Canon - PowerShot 14.1-Megapixel Digital Camera. This one might be good. I read about it but im not huge on cameras so you might get a better look.

Olympus makes one comparable for roughly 280.00 It's the  STYLUS TOUGH-6020. 14 megapixel, 720p video. I've used Olympus for personal use for several years and never had an issue.
