I have used several Macs in the past and have always liked Windows better.  So no I would not switch however buying one to have around isn't a bad idea.  I just don't plan on using one as my main computer currently.

If I owned a mac, I would go back to a Windows system as soon as possible, because once you start using macs, you begin to forfeit over thousands of dollars to some corporate douche bag named Steve Jobs so you can have a rainbow colored desktop and hidden files used to collect your personal information. Windows may be bad but OSX is just the worst. At least with Windows, most of the people that use it can identify everything wrong with it whereas Mac users fight to the death to defend their precious Apple and Steve Jobs while ignoring every negative detail of the company and everything related to it.

As for the 2nd question, I do have a PC, as does every Mac owner and again I would never consider a Mac.

I think linux is pretty good if you know how to use it but in my current situation I have to use Windows.

I would have to go back to a Windows 7 based PC for the reason it is the only system that can run everything I wish to use.

I'm guessing that zman has had a bad experience with a mac....and would you look at that I am commenting on this question via a mac :O

I coud never go back to windows after my experiences with a Mac...zman..."At least with Windows, most of the people that use it can identify everything wrong with it whereas Mac users fight to the death to defend their precious Apple and Steve Jobs"

I have tried Windows support, online and via phone...and they are hopeless.

Whilst Apple on the other hand, the best tech support I have ever had. What happened with your mac experience zman.. couldn't find the windows start menu or the windows key >< please some people are so close minded it's a joke.

I use a mac, and yes I do have a PC but that hasn't been turned on in over a year.  I'd never go back to a PC.  I got my Mac when I did have a PC and found Macs to be better fitting for me and a lot easier to use.  I have had my mac for over 4 years now and have never encountered a problem or anything.  So no I'd never go back to a PC, in fact I'll be buying another mac in a few days here.

I have no need for Macs, they are overpriced and do the same thing as Windows or Linux. Linux just does it better IMO.

I'm on a MacBook Pro. I like it, but I have no brand loyalty, except to Linux, which isn't really a brand. But I'd rather run a Mac than Windows. And I'd rather run Linux than Mac OS, but I'm having a hard time running Steam on Linux, which is why I still run all three.
