Yesterday I finally upgraded Galaxy S to 2.3 Gingerbread but now my facebook app won't open, it just crashes when I try and open it. I've re-installed it a few times, restarted my phone a few times and it still won't work. Any ideas?

Facebook doesnt seem to make completely stable apps for anything other then web browsers.

Im running ios and my facebook app crashes and freezes all the time, sometimes i cant even view my messages!

Plus facebook has recently rehauled the way they handle messaging so it might be related to that?

Goto the Application Uninstall screen and click the clear user data button, then fire up the app again and enter your login details again.

Just reinstall it.  It may have been corrupted during the upgrade process.  I believe the Facebook for Android app is much better than its iOS sibling.  After the recent update for the Facebook app on iOS devices, its just a huge bug.

Re-install the app or gingerbread? I've already re-installed the app like 5 times and it's the same thing...

Maybe Gingerbread.  Normally its best to do a clean install whenever you upgrade an OS.
