I strolled around some small time repair shops in the mall and I've seen the touch sensor of a touch device (looks like an iPod to me)

so  I wondered is there a touch input that we can just 'paste' on top of the monitor and plug it in the USB so that touch interface is enabled?
sure it's a hassle for those with large screen size, but for an 11" laptop, that wouldn't cost much would it?
I've had this idea since windows 8 is coming up and Touch seems to be necessary to enjoy it nowadays.
and not just because of windows 8, but because I'm willing to spend a few bucks for a new piece of hardware than buy a new touch tablet.
so do you know any product that sells this kind of stuff? is it impossible?

It's very possible to get a touchscreen for any laptop, especially netbooks. The only problem is getting the exact size to fit your screen.

The only problem is you have to open up the netbook and install it internally.

yah! like that one.., but it says it only emulates a mouse. which means it won't support some touch features like those from the iPod.
hope i can find more choices like this one. thanks man.
