People say apple could make another camera, like the quicktake, but with the progression in iOS device's cameras, I don't think so. what do you think?

In the latest apple keynote, they said that their goal was to make the iPhone camera better than a point-and-shoot. So, no, not a standalone camera.

It was decided in 1996 that Apple should focus on building quality hardware and software. To stop building cameras and printers and all the other flop products attempted during Steve Job's "pixar vacation". I doubt they will change that ethic anytime soon. When Steve Jobs returned to Apple he completely simplified the Apple product line into four products (with various configurations) which included consumer desktop and laptop computers and professional desktop and laptop computers. They didn't expand that product line until the G4 cube.
