Hello everyone, recently I have been having a problem with my HP Mini 110 netbook. I hit the power button and nothing shows up on screen. All that happens is the caps lock light flashes twice then shuts off. Any help would be nice, as I am going on a trip soon and would like to have a computer. Thanks in advance everyone!

Here's a "hail-Mary" shot~

Take the battery out, unplug it, hold the power button down for 30 secs. Plug in again (no battery) power on. If it works- good for you. If not, here's hoping you're still under warranty? I feel for you- always terrible when your computer just up & dies? Good luck!

The blinking caps lock button is an error code. On HP Laptops, 2 blinks means that the bios on the motherboard has become corrupted. You're going to have to find a way to recover the bios if you want to use that laptop again.

If you can get access to the motherboards' battery, take it out for a minute or more. This will clear cmos and reset bios settings to default.
