Windows because Wine does not support all the apps; plus it has a lot of bugs.

Well for Windows apps, I'd go with Windows.  However Linux has a lot of good alternative apps out there, and as an overall operating system I would go with Linux.  Though, if you're just asking about Windows apps, then it would be Windows.  WINE doesn't do all Windows app that well, only some.

I dont't understand your answer linux easily has more programs to costumize every aspect of it then windows do to its nature and even more costomization through the many configuration files.  As for the number of programs I am not sure about but amny programs can run in linux erither natively or through emulators.  Also almost any program can be opmade to run in a windows virtual machine useing VMware of VirtualBox.

I'm a big fan of Linux, so it does not come easily when I say that Windows is better. I cannot think of any situation where I would choose an emulator over the original. Weird question.

What's "better"?

Administrators: I can't vote down on this question, either.

The answer depends on how you plan on using the computer.  Also, what do you define as "better"?  I would define better as "more options and more secure" but you may simply define better as "faster.

Linux with a Windoze virtual machine, not Wine, is probably a very safe bet.

Wine simply allows you to play/run windows applications in linux. The support is very limited. It only supports dx up to 9 and even that is buggy.

But I have played games like call of duty 1 with united offense. The performance was fair. Me and my friend had a network game. One computer was windows and the other was linux.
