Well I won't be using this computer as a personal computer but a server of course. So anyways I can't connect to the internet on my 2003 windows server. Plus if I can't connect to the internet that means no one will connect to my server over the web right?
Every time I go to apple.com or Google.com or any other site IE says "Can't load page" or something like that.

What is wrong with my server and how can I fix it.
I installed a fresh copy of windows 2003 server.
Plus I never even used windows server on my pc before!!!

Are you using LAN or wireless? Have you gone into the control panel and set up the connection?

you need to insert rj45 in ur ethernet hole. that way you can connect to internet, unless ur still on dial up. in that caes you need one of them rj11's

omg is it like a really really really really old computer?

this is all i could find on ur computer

http://www.mycomputerdr.net/compaq5834.htm

i guess its time for upgrade. and it says it has HCF 56K PCI Modem so i don't think u can use ur rj45 ethernet cable. u'll have to use the thin one rj11 which is used in dial up connection.

Ensure firewall settings are allmok.  If you have had a version of norton installed try the norton removal tool (google it) otherwise you should b good to go....
