No computers have them anymore.  Their low memory storage has made them obsolete.

Desktops don't even have floppy drives standard anymore. CD's took over floppy drives, and now DVD's have taken over CD's. Soon BlueRays will take over and it will keep going on and on. Floppy disks just don't have the storage capacity and speed that the newer technology does so they have become obsolete.

Floppy drive, what's a floppy?  Is that some kind of archaic pre-optical storage media of some kind?  I had heard of something before optical discs and CDs, but Apple killed that with the iMac.

*Like 8-Track Tapes, Cassette Tapes, Vinyl Records, etc. were/are hardly used, Floppy Drives & Disks are too.  If you are ever in need of a Floppy Drive, I recommend buying an external solution.*

[Prehistoric][1] era is now over, we have to live in the present :), and Floppy disks now'a days are practically useless, with the capacity of Dvds etc.

HAHA. at first when I read this I was like "Who's this joker?!" and about to leave a smart comment because I thought you were referring to an actual notebook. Like out of paper. So i was going to say like "I believe, for the main reason, that they're made of paper. haha" and then I read the description and was like oohhhh. lol. Had to share that ;) blonde moment, all humans have them :P

but still, either way, you're nuts for asking this. Floppy drives are obsolete, that's why notebooks don't have them. ...or netbooks...or tablets...or DESKTOPS!..not even smartphones :P

1.44MB wow, just old, just a 1GB flash drive is 694 times larger, they are rather useless in todays world, however I had to use those annoying things until I bought my iPhone and then my new digital camera.

Yes, my old camera used floppy discs, my new camera is just amazing based on what I had before.
