I may not be a guru at networking, but I can understand bits of it. So I was wondering if I took two Apple AirPort Expresses and was able to link them so they were on the same network, and were able to play the same songs. Is this possible?

that would be negitive its not a wifi client or ad-hoc its a access point/router

those that work that way often are hacked or run opensource firmware.. I wouldn't suggest doing either on the airport.

there may be a way to bridge them, but I am not an apple user, so I do not know if it is, and if so how.

Yeah, me neither, they just look like nice routers.
