You can try looking into Computer Science. What a computer scientist does is solve problems using the computer, and that can be endless. Computer Science incorporates software engineering with web development and design. Computer Science is a very BIG and BROAD subject nowadays and lead to very successful jobs. If CS isn't what you're looking for you could look for something related to Information Technology Services. ITS is pretty much relaying information to a person who is going to use the product or service. ITS is web development, web design, web applications engineering, etc... From your profile on LG.net it looks like you play hockey. Check out Rochester Institute of Technology for both CS or ITS and hockey! Maybe I'm just being bias because I'm currently enrolled as a Computer Science major at RIT, but maybe I'm just recommending a good school. Thanks, because I'm always looking for suggestions. Yes, I do love hockey, but I don't want it to become a huge part of my decision making, because I consider it more of a hobby than a career (I don't even own most of the equipment that I need!). Another reason why I was pushing Full Sail so much is because I can get a full degree for only three years of attending there (I think that they even have a two year program, but you have absolutely no breaks). Another reason why I would suggest RIT is that they require you to complete a co-op for at least 3-4 quarters. Co-ops are paid internships with small companies or big companies (such as Google, Facebook or Apple). |

I am VERY far from making that decision myself but with the way the web is going I would go with Web development or Film making. |

I'm going to pass on a piece of advice given to me about a week ago, theres very few jobs available in web development at the minute with software like wordpress more and more people choose to create web sites themselves rather than hire a web designer. |

Uhh, you do the same thing every day in software development. You develop software.
But the difference is that you never make the same product. You might make a similar product from day to day, but you will have different features on each piece of software. Is it really that bad?
