Upgrade from Leopard To Snow Leopard without cd?

Hello everyone, I really need to upgrade my imac from snow leopard to leopard but i am unable to go out to the store and buy one because where i live is basically snowed in and the closest store that would sell this is over 1 hour drive. Is there any way i can download snow leopard off apples site (obviously pay for it) and just do the upgrade WITHOUT having to burn it onto a cd? Because i don't have any cd's here right now either lol (just moved, so don;t have much here) Please if anyone no's the answer let me no!

If you purchase it from the apple website they will provide a disk with Snow Leopard installed

Yes i no that. I was just wondering if there was a way to buy then download it from apple site so that i don't have to order it and get it shipped all the way out here.

Then no there isn't a way to LEGALLY download Snow Leopard
