This is probably a refresh rate problem. Im using 1366x768 . And up to date drivers. Im using Nvidia with Kubuntu. The refresh rate is 59.9 which looked perfect 0n the live CD. The monitor is a Acer X163w. Please help people of Lockergnome! Thanks :D

60 makes it look crap. The higher it goes the worser it gets.

That's not good then, maybe you should try what Kostas said? Try the cable first, then graphics card.

you should try another cable (or reconnecting it making sure it is connected properly) , connect another monitor , try the monitor on another pc and check your graphics card .
