How much RAM would you recommend if I did mediuim level video editing? |
Casual use - 2-3 GB Video editing - 4-6 Hardcore gaming - 6-8 |
Depends on what do you do usually ? 4GB is standard nowadays |
You should have at least 4 GB of ram for video editing depending on the difficulty. |
1- 2 for netbooks (casual use). 4 to 16 for HD video editing and or gaming...
in my opinion in everyday usage, 2gb is the absolute minium but 4gb should be enough for video editing |
If you're using Windows I'd have to say that the bare minimum should be two gigabytes. If you're on a Mac, the bare minimum should be 1 gigabyte. If you're on Ubuntu, the bare minimum should be about 512 megabytes. |
for what you are asking i would recommend like 4GB. Editing software consumes a lot of ram. |
I would say @ least 3GB. Most say 2GB, but I would not use a system with less that 3GB of RAM. I have a Windows 7 64 bit system & I currently have 6GB of RAM. Runs great |
I would say that todays standard is pretty much 4gb minimum :) |
if you have 32 bit os you are limited to 4gb with 7 but if you have 64 bit you can theoreticaly have up to almost 200 gb but if you have 64 bit 6-8 gb if you have 32 bit 4gb is your max, yust get that. |
