Is an iPhone 3G Let's catch everyone up-to-date:
How much would you pay for Chris Pirillo's iPhone 3G[s]? |
|
I don't live in the USA I live in Canada so AT&T is not the best for me so I would pay about $150. |
|
Would probably pay about $100-$150. Depending on if I got anything with it(cables, cases, etc.). I have had bad experiences with AT&T so I would probably not use it as a phone, so then it would be useless to me considering I just bought the iPod Touch 4th Generation in 32GB form. |
|
Probably like 40-50 bux, depending on shipping and stuff like that. I don't think the iPhone is worth as much as it costs, but I'd still like to own one. |

Uhm. I have not said I WILL sell it. I don't know what to do with it at this point. My Dad got the iPhone 4 for me because he wanted the 3GS and he knew I wished I had a 4. He didn't like the touch screen experience at all, so the 3GS is mine again. $99 is NON contract price, y'all. This one is in perfect condition, used by Chris from the day he bought it until he sent it to me. I used it from mid-July until the end of October. There's not a scratch or ding on it... at all. :) Kat, As I've told you, I might be interested in a backup iPhone 3G I'd be willing to sell it for $150.00 (USD). It only includes the charging cables and the sexy Griffin case (black) given to me by Dave Delaney during Gnomedex. Dave is the Community Manager for Griffin. 1
Kat, If the iPhone 3G 1
awww no. It says: 05.14.02 right now, whatever that means. I've done a restore, and wiped all my data off of it. According to what I'm finding on eBay and Craigslist, I could get $300-$400 for this device. :) Kat, Hang tight! I'm checking if I can still jailbreak it with that baseband. You kept the original iPhone boxes & things? 1
Not sure if I have the box still. Chris sent it to me, yes. But with the sudden move we had to do, I'm not sure where it is. I THINK I know. hehe. I will look after I get some sleep today, and let you know. I may dig up other accessories, as well. We'll see what I find. :) Kat, I just confirmed that a Jailbreak & Unlock will be out in a few weeks. If you find a buyer before that, my loss.

I would pay for it, but I don't want to be tied to AT&T. I'd say if I wanted it, I would pay about $110 for it |
|
Nothing, I don't personally want an iPhone, especially not one as old as the 3G. I am happier with android if i'm honest |

Actually, I was just thinking about this very subject the other day. Some people hold the belief that objects owned, operated, and enjoyed by a person of whom you appreciate their traits would pass on those traits -- kind of like a good-luck charm -- to the next owner. We call that a kind of object-oriented karma. Does it work? I am not aware of any scientific research on the subject. Still, people often buy memorabilia owned by a celebrity or famous person because we want to have a little "slice" of them around us. I have a costume that I swear works like a good-luck charm when it comes to performance. Perhaps it is what we feel -- and thus the orientation of our own reality based on perception -- that changes the outcome, and not the object itself. At the same time, if it's a home you've purchased, some people swear they can detect the happiness or unhappiness of its former occupants. I think there's probably a lot to be said about psychic energies applied to objects. I suppose a cell phone wouldn't be exempt. |

Really, she has the iPhone now and is planning to get rid of the iPhone 3G S?
