If you've used Wikipedia in the last 2 months, you've probably noticed the plea from Jimmy Wales requesting money to help fund the Wikipedia project.

Have you donated yet? Will you donate?

They do this every year. Wikipedia is a powerful resource and is completely free and voluntarily driven. There is no revenue gained from the website.

I will not be donating because I don't use Wikipedia as I have access to more accurate libraries and databases.

This year they really went over the top though. It makes me avoid the site all together because it's constantly a picture of Jimmy Wales.

What other resources to you use?

Wikipedia i dont find that useful, having found several errors that are fundamental int the explanation of a idea or concept. i do not feel it is reliable enough.

No. I will not donate.

All websites need money. I can't donate to every site I visit.

The only time I would not use Wikipedia is maybe in a paper or schoolwork because it's not accepted as a cite where I am. But if I ever want to know something, I just go to Wikipedia. Way better than going to library. Besides all changes are reviewed unlike before. Because of their efforts I donated a dollar.
