What should I build?

MINECRAFT! My friends and I made a contest to see who could make the most epic creation on minecraft. I don't know what to build. I don't want to build something too crazy, but not too lame. Any suggestions appreciated :)

A REALLY ****** BIG CANNON!!!!!

Or maybe something with redstone, like an ALU.

Alternatively, you could take to the skies and make a massive fort up there and stock it with all the essentials (food, water, tree farms, etc.) Or you could make a large underground/underwater complex with a combination lock circuit so that only you could get inside.
