Are you addicted to Karma? Do you have a stash of it here? Does it give you a thrill knowing that you have more? Do you wish you were rolling in it like other members of the community? Don't vote up on your own supply... account... thingy.

I like Karma, but I really just like asking questions! :) I have always asked a lot of question outside of this community. So I think I may be addicted to this site. :)

Karma Addiction is a physical and/or psychological dependency to Karma. I've heard of addiction to many things, but Karma Addiction is a new one =0p... I have visions of Karma/Drug Dealers supplying their addicts/junkie customers on the streets. How does one intake Karma into their system? Do they cut it up with a razor, then snort it up their nostrils? Do they roll it up like a joint, and smoke it? Are there 12-Step Programs for Detox? What's the street price of Karma? I could become a High Tech Karma Dealer ...

I can't quit Lockergnome.net anytime I want, but I can quit karma and have done so already. I voluntarily had my karma reduced by 8k or 10k some time back to enjoy some "quiet time" on page 2 of the user list. Of course, my activities here meant that it's slowly crept upwards again, but it was a nice vacation on page 2 for a little while.

Karma is awesome, it also means that people are happy with what I posted and I was of some help :). I think the site is to help more the community than winning a keyboard, and Chris has done an amazing job creating it and all of you answering some questions that where really helpful to me!

Karma honestly doesn't doing anything in my opinion. If there were no Karma points on this site, I would still use it with as much enthusiasm that I currently have. Some people just rank people by their Karma when it's their post content that counts.

Karma isn't the reason I do this. My main reason is that I love to talk tech to people (I'm trying amateur tech blogging), and this gives me an outlet to express my opinions and further my knowledge.
