I'm using Nlite software to create my own custom Windows XP CD. I want to use Windows XP on my Sata drive, and since I don't have a FDD to load the drivers during setup, I have no choice but to create a custom CD with my motherboard drivers. During the setup I added my drivers and it asked me what kind of drivers are they(Basically), and my choices were PNP or text mode drivers, and I want to know the difference between the two.

Thanks jack, but can you tell me what the difference is?

PNP is in the name.

TextMode i have been told is the same but is harder or more work to install.
