Ok I should be getting a new phone tomorrow its an Android phone the LG optimums S. I am very excited for this phone to get here, it will by far be the best phone I have ever owned, however with finals coming up, it probably I not the best timing.

The school I go to offers a nice exchange server of which I keep my appointments with professors and other obligations in check. for this reason I would like it to sync with my phone.

I am a very picky person so I wish an application to do all the following

  1. Be able to send and receive emails on the exchange server
  2. Be able to access the global address book
  3. Be able to sync my calendar
  4. Be able to sync the tasks

I am willing to pay (a reasonable price, after all I am a poor college student) for such an app but as always free is always better (once again, poor college student)

So if you know of an application please let me know thank you

You should be able to set this up in your phone's settings. Open your phone's settings, select Accounts, then Add Account and select Exchange or Corporate Sync. If that does not work, open your Email application then press the menu button and touch add account to add an exchange account. I am using a Droid X 2.2, hopefully there is the same set up on the Optimum.

You could also check this out.
