Another problem is when I try to uninstall it I get a error:

What do I do? I hate my computer going threw the update screen every time I turn off my computer.

Other info: The error may be related to "Halo 2". I could not get that game to work so I removed it.

I believe that Halo 2 was the only "Windows Live" game I had on this computer. I am not a very big gamer. (Except for Minecraft.)

What do you mean?

If you go to Windows Update, right click the update you don't want and select "Hide update".

Hopefully this should work.

If not I'd recommend you try uninstalling it using anther program rather than using the built in Windows Installer. I recommend you give Revo Uninstaller a try. Its a very powerful program and removes all traces of a program when you uninstall it.

The only place that I can find the program is in the uninstall programs area.

Why don't you actually try installing Games for Windows Live yourself and then trying to remove it? You can download it from here: http://bit.ly/ez7EHm
