What in the world... Do we go any time we like or is it... When the world is ending lets leave and go die in space? $200,000 doesn't seem too bad actually seeing as it costs $1000s to bring a pound of anything to space right now. However of course no average Joe can pay $200,000 for himself to go to space nonetheless his family. We're talking close to a million dollars if he has a 4 person family.

Considering the number of people who have actually gone into space and the cost of the technology to do so, $200,000 is extremely cheap for a starting price. I would thing closer to $2,000,000 and only for elite, super-rich.

It's worth about $75.00 at least for that price I could take the whole family. 200,000.00 is way to much, condidering my house is only 130,000.00. If I had 200K kickin around, I'd buy a new house before I took a short ride in space. For 200k they better be taking me to see the rings of saturn, or I'd be asking for a refund.

Virgin Galactic is the one furthest out of the gate on this right now, but there are competitors. Texas-based Armadillo Aerospace has already sold its first ticket for a flight on the suborbital space vehicle they're developing and the ticket is $100,000 -- half of what a VG SpaceShipTwo trip would cost.
