What is the difference(s) between Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes?

My Question: If you have Diabetes, do you control it via Diet and/or Insulin shots?

Type one is rarer than type two. Type one usually shows up in people younger than 40, and they must inject insulin.

Type two is more genetic, but can still come from other things. At first you usually won't need to inject insulin if you have type two.
