I've had a problem all my life with bottling up anger and sadness all the time, until I snap on the people I least want to take it out on. It's caused a fair amount of conflict between myself and some of my loved ones, and I'd just like to know how to not bottle these up and express them without getting into huge arguments with people.

With anger I find it best to just vent to somebody online about why you're angry about something. You could also try to take your anger out on something inanimate but will not harm you or anybody else, such as a pillow or punching bag.

As for sadness, just give yourself a reason to cry. There's nothing wrong with crying and it really helps you understand there is something better in life that will soon come your way.

I had a simple and effective solution to sadness and anger: I removed from my life all the things which made me sad or angry.

Life is good.

what would you do if one of the things that made you sad and/or angry was legally bound to be in your life?

i got an actual bottle, it's small and i keep it were no one could possibly find it, write down anything that gets to me or that i would otherwise bottle up in my head, write it down, fold the paper up as much as possible and put it into the bottle and forget about it.

dont know yet what i'm going to do when it gets full, but as things are, it looks like it wont be getting full anytime soon.
