I am looking for a host that is not a super cheap one (e.g. less than 5 dollars a month) and one that is not expensive. Just a nice website with unlimited bandwidth and storage. Thanks.

You can get the web hosting package here http://www.xnynz.com/ at reasonable price. It has three reliable packages such as Economy, Deluxe and Unlimited hosting packages. Each has more features..You can also host your site here.

The best hosting provider is kinda lame question. You should tell us more in detail about what you are wanting to compare hosting companies on?

Most people will compare on specs, prices, and etc.. but then again, its bias.

  • What kind of hosting are you looking for?
  • What kind of programming language are you going to be using? (php, asp, html, perl etc?)
  • What is the price range?
  • Are you looking for shared hosting? Dedicated hosting? Virtual hosting?

With these answers will be will able to assist you with the best hosting provider for your unique solution.

hostgator.com iirc $9.99/mo or $7.99 if you buy a year in one, unlimited space, bandwidth, domains... been with them 5 years on a reseller account and never had any problems. When you're stuck - great support, live chat..all you need.

My favorite hosting company is Hostgator. Their prices are reasonable and they come with a whole plethora of features. Not to mention that their customer service is amazing! Typically you will receive a response to a support ticket withing a few minutes. And you can get instant help by calling in or using the live support chat feature. Their up time and speed is also amazing. In the 2 years I have been using Hostgator I honestly have nothing bad to say about them.
