Question about CrossfireX and SLI

I've never used or seen a crossfireX or SLI computer before, and I've been thinking about building another computer with Xfire or SLI. I heard it's not just as simple as buying a motherboard with 2 PCIe slots.

Can someone tell me what hardware requirements I need to build a SLI and Xfire computer?

I know some stuff but I might as well ask anyway.

Search "OC3D" on Youtube and you will get a SLI video on one of the pages.

It has lots and lots of info on it.

What about CrossFireX?

It is the same thing as SLI but it is with AMD cards.
