I am a little confused about how to do this. Here is a example that I made up. (Which could mean that it does not work but it will show the type of question.)
3/7x = 8

If we are finding x, We move (3/7) over the equal.
This is a way by fraction busting.
(7/3)(3/7)x = 8 (7/3)

Instead of doing it like Kevin I would find it easier to do:
Then multiply the 7 over to get:
Then just divide by 3 to get:
You shouldn't have to worry about calculating that to 18.6667, 56/3 is just as acceptable and is the exact answer.

basically you find the inverse of the faction (aka flip it). Then you multiple both sides by the inverse fraction.
