Where does Chrome cache your browsing history? (OS X)

I want to know this because I use time machine to backup all of my data but for some reason when I go a day without backing up it has to backup like 5gb worth of data and I believe it's because it's backing up all of my web history and cached websites.

I thought all web browsers did that. You know chromes privacy issues though...

What? I'm asking where my browsing history gets stored locally so that I can keep time machine from backing it up.
