[closed] Microsoft Security Essential 2?

have you tried out Microsoft Security Essentials 2.0 yet? It just came out and I'm sure that some of you use it. I use it in Virtual Machines and on some of my families computers because it takes like no resources and never gives any pop-ups. I was wondering if you have used it yet and what you think of it.

How do I get it? 2.0 isn't showing up at the link you provided nor via manually going to the Security Essentials site.

I have Security Essentials already installed & I ensured it was updated. The program says nothing about a 2.0 version ...

What I did was uninstall the old version then just download the version that is on the website. It doesn't say it is 2.0 but it is.

I have it running on my laptop, I just updated to version 2 and its an excellent choice for a free security option, I highly recommend it.

It seems to be as light on resources. Are you having the same experience or is it from running it in a VM that I just don't notice it?

I think is a good update and works kinda well, Microsoft seems to be putting a lot of work on it. Although since 2006 I have been putting my PC's security in the hands of Alwil's Avast and never had a problem, crash due to virus, etc ever since that day. On February 2011 me and Avast will be celebrating our 5th year anniversary ^^ of been together :P
