Here are a few possibilities: http://www.techsupportalert.com/best-free-video-editor.htm#pvs User reviews/comments follow links... Cheers! Thanks for the link! It has some great information. Its kind of hard to find information on Google now since they just give million of links and you don't know which ones are safe. |

I've heard great things about Lightworks. I don't know much about it but apparently it's been around for a while as a professional editing program, but it just recently went open source. It's been used to edit a lot of big movies. This is probably the most high-end professional editor you'll find for free. It's still in beta but you should give it a try (I would if I had Windows). The site says the Mac and Linux versions are coming Fall 2011. Lightworks is now out of beta and there is a free version. There is also a pro version for not much (I think it's a subscription) but the free version has a very nice set of features and is still a professional style editor. |

The only free video editor on windows i've ever used other than Movie Maker (NEVER use Movie Maker for ANYTHING) is VideoPad. Just google it. EDIT Sorry, i forgot, you have a 30 day free trial. Nope, Sorry there is no good free editors for Windows. Get Sony Vegas. |

i know this isn't your question but Sony Movie Studio is quite cheap |

Try ezvid. Ezvid is the best free video maker, screen recorder and slideshow maker for Windows, featuring video editing, screencasting and screen capture. Cheers |

Sadly, there are not any quality video editors for Windows, the quality free video editor is iMovie. If you want to really get into video, and just edit gameplay videos, save some money up and buy Sony Vegas 8 for $300 on eBay. |
