I recently transferred from a Mac to a Windows machine and in the process stored my iTunes library on an external hard drive. For whatever reason, the hard drive has decided to stop working and now I need to recover my library on my new computer. I called Apple and was told that there was a once in a lifetime option to recover my library. Does anyone know how to access this feature? Please help! |

If you Email iTunes support and tell them the situation they should be nice and put all your previous music downloads into an available downloads section of the iTunes store. They did that for me once, yet it was only one song not an entire album. I'm sure they'll help anyway, they always do. |
I bet they did not even want to help you...
The woman sounded like she hadn't a clue what she was talking about.. I'm looking for this option and I haven't found any articles relating to it.
Did you purchase your songs through iTunes?
Yes. None of them were from CDs or downloaded on Limewire or anything like that. All of the songs were purchased legitimately through iTunes.
