Hey all,

Just got my hair cut down to a blade 4(v.short, less than 1") and I'm comparing it to flix from the summer. Every year my hair goes quite a fair blonde(was pure blonde as a kid) during the summer, but during the winter months its this mucky brownish colour that I hate. I know I could lightly bleach it and get it back to how it is over the summer, but TBH thats awkward and I'm lazy.

Doing a bit of googlin I see that tanning beds can change your hair colour like the sun(as makes sense). What I'm interested in doing is using a UV bulb to lighten my hair. I have a UV tube already, but its UV(C or A), whichever is the harmless one, I cant remember, so thats no good. Could I get a reptile bulb and use that? Obviously I would shield my face and eyes etc.

I guess that would work. The only thing that I would suggest is that you put sun block on your head. That way there's less of a chance of something wrong happening.

I would recommend him to not try this to do possible side effects.
