Unfortunately I've been in this situation too many times. I spent one week trying to resolve my Macbook issues.And went through 3 Macbooks in about 2 weeks. I ended up solving my problem through Apple technical support,because the guys at the Genius Bar said it would be too costly to exchange it. When was the last time you had a hard time exchanging or returning a product because it was defective?

My only experiences have been in buying and returning my iPad. I returned it without issue; they merely asked why and sent me on my way. My money was back in my account within a day.
