Power Supply Wattage

You won't have enough power to run the card. nVidia suggests that a minimum of 450W of power is needed to run that card. Your PSU looks like 250W maximum and 110W minimum. It's not safe to run the car with such low power. I would suggest going and buying a 750W PSU.

Why would you want to run it off a separate PSU? As recck suggested, get a new one.

0	Probably wouldn't function correctly, if at all, from an external power supply. You want your card and power supply grounded to the same chassis. answered Dec 28 '10 at 12:15 Lasertech 1

0	250w but if you are running a graphics card i would suggest a higher wattage. On my gaming setup I have one NVidia Geforce 9500gt 1GB VRAM and a 750w P ower Supply, I can now play Black Ops all day and it will run well/cool. answered Dec 29 '10 at 04:10 Louis Jenvey 561●5●9●19
