Is it possible to add more then one thing to your clipboard?

If the clipboard can hold more than one thing, it loses what makes it a clipboard and becomes just another place to put stuff. This feature would completely eliminate the whole point in having it in the first place.

Having said that, Microsoft did it with Office. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/help/collecting-and-pasting-items-with-the-office-clipboard-HA001055246.aspx
