Okay, let's admit that Blender is the best at free 3D modeling, but I get annoyed at it, because Edit Mode is only letting me edit one cube. This happens sparingly, but when it does, it's usually after a long edit. I've tried saving it, and quitting the application, but it still only lets me edit the last cube that I have created.

Are there any Blender experts that can help me out?

What version are you using, 2.5, or 2.49???

Also when you go into edit mode you can select verties, edges, and faces and move them, delete them, tweak them, aka edit them to make the object look however you'd like it to work, and you can create cuts by pressing CTRL+R while in edit mode if you need extra edges/faces/verties I have a video planned "The Basics Of Blender" on my website

I'm using 2.49b, and the screenshots that follow will explain what I'm talking about.

Looks to me as if the other cubes are other objects, remember to join an multiple objects you haft to select multiple objects by holding SHIFT and then right clicking on the other objects you want to join into that one object. Once you have all the objects selected then press CTRL+J. You can't edit multiple objects in edit mode, just the one. Which I personally like it like that, but that's me.

Oh if you used an Array modifier you'll have more edges, vertices, and faces on the object then you would by scaling it.

Also while in edit mode when you select lets say a face when you press "P" you can then make that one object into 2 objects, or more depending on how many times you're gonna separate it.

You can also tell by the screenshots that there are some serious things missing when it comes down to the bottom section. It's a good thing that I saved my work after I was done every time.

I think the real problem was that I tried adding an object when it was in object mode. That cube must've automatically "spawned" in edit mode; so when I tried to make edit it, it didn't like it.

All software has bugs, and this is no exception (not specifically saying that Blender is bad, but that this could happen to any piece of software).

I haven't used 2.49 in awhile, and now I really don't like it, I love 2.5, and even though it's still in Beta stage it's still very nice, can't wait till it's full release, which rumors are it won't be till late July or August of this year.

Also not all software has bugs, as you gotta remember there's thousands, and millions of programs out there. Some can be something simple like a desktop pet, and others can be more advanced like a 3d modeling, game creation, and video editing program like Blender. It'll have a bug, because of the codes integrated in it from what the developer had done. So some maybe basic, while others aren't.
