I've been wondering for a while, why does my system indicates that only 3.87 GB of RAM are usable out of 4 GB? I do run a 64-bit OS. Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
Can anyone tell me why I cannot use all my RAM even if the OS is 64-bit?

Oh I see now, so it's either the GPU, the Intel HD graphics integrated into the Core i3 CPU I have, or Windows using it for Kernel use. Alright, thanks everyone for those precise answers! :)

Onboard integrated graphics, or lets say Integrated Graphics Cards, that are soldered onto the motherboard will take some memory from the RAM to be able to run, which will leave with you with a little less, then what you have installed.
I hope this helps you out, if you are still confused, just let the community know. :)
