Out of the blue, chrome stopped working. I'm panicking. Reinstalled, nothing. I found a virus, removed it, still didn't work. Used System Restore, nothing. PLEASE HELP, any stupid idea you have! I don't want to have to reformat.
(p.s., I'm forced to use IE8, as firefox isn't working either, so please, please pity me!)

Did you tried to download a dev version? When I used the "normal" version I always had problem and crashes but ever since I started to use the dev version Chrome started to work normal. See here for the dev versions: http://www.filehippo.com/download_google_chrome/

Try deleting the user data folder for chrome.
Paste this in the Address bar of "Computer"
Replace "YOURPCNAME" with the name you gave the computer. ex. C:\Users\John......
Delete "User Data"

Doesn't matter any more you guys, I bit the bullet an did a complete re-format. Definitely not happy with google support. Know why? BECAUSE THERE'S NONE! And even now, it's starting to f*** up, AGAIN. Jeez, I'm staring to wonder why google exists with the condition it is in. Too bad I grew up with it, and love their browser so much.

Alright, so your reinstalled Windows and the problem persists.
Give more information on whats happening. Did this just start happening? Or has Chrome been like this since the first time you installed it on that computer?
