what is better for Microsoft Windows or Xbox for gaming?

[Edit] I think he means "Which platform is better for gaming, Microsoft Windows or Xbox?". I'm not entirely sure so i left the original question. - Matt

Well first thing is that they are two different things. One is mainly for gaming and the other is for many things

Better in what way? One is an operating system for a computer, the other is a games console.

If you're asking which has made them the most successful then it would have to be the Windows operating system.

Considering one is a console, and the other is an operating system, neither one is better than the other.

If you're talking about console gaming vs PC gaming, then it's just a matter of opinion.

Like everyone else, I don't understand what you mean because they are different platforms. Please edit your question.

Both seem to be successful revenue generators for Microsoft. So I can’t pick one over the other.

Having both a successful operating system [I.E. Windows 7] & a successful gaming console under their belt gives them a dual revenue stream.

I don't really see how this question is "confusing".

Personal preference I think. I personally prefer to keep my gaming to consoles like xbox or PS3.

If I used my PC for gaming nothing would ever get done.

You are comparing GAME CONSOLE with PERSONAL COMPUTER... Diference: One Only dedicated for gaming the other multitasking... I am plenty sure your pc even has a better graphics card than a xbox 360 :D
