While trying to start a viable website/video channel on YouTube, a question comes to mind.

How can I do what Chris does, and keep my info safe? It's obvious that you can't just find his home address online or personal contact information, yet he gets products and other gadgets sent to him. Now, this may seem irrelevant to those who have been doing this for years, but for a proverbial "newbie" like myself, not so much.

I'm sure there are quick fixes to the domain "whois" searches that usually give out personal info and ways for people to send things to you without giving your home address, but I am not aware of them and would love to learn.

Any advice is highly appreciated. Thank you!

I'm sure Chris uses something like Privoxy for his stream and Youtube and you can pay a fee when registering a domain to stop whois from posting information of your site. If your looking to setup your own secure website, then i'd suggest researching proxies and secure domain registers. If you just want to browse the web securely then watch this Youtube video. I don't use tor but I don't feel the need to be secure.

Would it be smart to set up a P.O Box of some sort for future shipping needs? It just seems much smarter than giving out any unnecessary personal info.

yes that would be good because otherwise you'd have to pick up your mail in large baskets
