I store a lot of personal info in EVERNOTE, a popular cloud computing data storage site.

How safe is this new way of working and storing our data?

From what I have read and seen it is safe. If you are worried about security, just go to the local Walmart or order a 1 Teribyte External Hard drive. That should take care of your data storage needs!

Any information that's put on the internet is unsafe to some extent. I would advise that you only store non-personal info. BTW Google has admitted to sharing user information with any police or government agency in the us at request so I would stay away from Google.
