I love it. Another great thing from Apple. The apps available are great with great prices for iLife 11 and iWork 09 and incredibly good for Aperture. I expect may more apps will be added overtime. I love the fact it updates your apps for easily as a whole (which was impossible before even wit apps like AppFresh and MacKeeper). Apple really has done well.

It's very limited so far, but I hope that more developers join in.

Apple must really not like me using their image. I'll make sure that I put it back up.

Like Alex said, it's great to be able to update all your apps (downloaded from the store) at once. Unfortunately, there is a program, called Kickback, coming out sometime in February, that lets you pirate any app from the store. I hope Apple fixes the crack before February.

Why can't we shoot cannonballs at all of these pirates?

I find it a very useful tool on my Mac now.

I like the way that Apple check all the code of each application before it is released so I can be sure that the applications I am downloading are safe and do what they say they do.

The review system is awesome (very similar to the iOS App Store one) as I can tell if it's worth installing the application or buying it (if it is paid for).

Sadly developers have to pay the Apple Developer costs to be in the app store which I don't like too much as I have seen a free open source program having to start charging people to get a copy of the application as a way to fund their fees.

For Macintosh users like myself, it's just wonderful. I use the iPhone 4 and iPad so it makes my experience even greater. I purchased Chopper 2 last night and the download process couldn't have been any smoother. It only has 1,000 applications right now but that's a great amount for launch day alone! Also a stat came out today saying that Chopper 2 made over $30,000 on launch!

I think the App Store is a good concept. Only thing I've "bought" so far is the Twitter App. I think it'll be a great way to get the software you need on-demand. I think it'd be awesome if they let you rent software like a try before you buy OR if you need a title for a specific project and that's it. Can't wait to see what makes it to the store.
