So is the iphone now officially going to Verizon? If they are what do you think about it? |
The question has been closed for the following reason "It was announced." by TheTechDude Jan 11 '11 at 19:06

It's very likely that the Verizon iPhone will be released because if Verizon was releasing something non-Apple related they would have done it during there keynote on Thursday, during CES. |
|
It's likely because they just had a huge press event at CES where they announced several 4G LTE phones. Why would they have a special event right after their big CES event? iPhone possibly. I have an iPhone 4 on AT&T so I don't care. |

It was just announced. See here: http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/splash/iphone.jsp |

It's very likely to be announced tomorrow. Following the iPad on Verizon's success, and the fact that several key Apple bloggers were invited to the event over other sites like Gizmodo, it's very likely to be announced. |
|
At this point in time, nothing has been confirmed. For all we know, maybe it's the iPad 2 being released tomorrow and a surprise show up by Steve Jobs with Apple. There has been times where the Wall Street Journal was wrong. All rumors and blogs say that it will be released, but we don't know for sure because it's not 100% confirmed. Only time will tell. |
