This is the first time it's ever happened to me. I've already searched from other places, but none of them give a straight answer that would actually work. The problem started when I updated/edited one of my bookmarks and after a while I saw it still had the old name and address, I thought that I must have done something wrong, so I edited it again, but after hitting save - in the properties window - it didn't save the bookmark. No matter what I try to do with them, I can't. None of these work: deleting, renaming, moving, copy/pasting - nothing. It's like FF is totally clogged up. I started using FireFox like a month ago because Chrome was too overwhelming for my old laptop (I still prefer Chrome). It seems to only happen to a certain group of bookmarks - I've got a folder called YT (YouTube) for all of the channels I view regularly - I managed to delete the folder and re-create it, but when I add an another folder into it and try to add something to it, it wouldn't do anything. I've got like 90 bookmarks, so don't suggest anything that may jepordize these. Thanks for all of your help and I also apologize for this long post. |
I dont know how to help you but it does sound like you have alot of bookmarks lol I've got like 5 or 10 I try not to use them because they use memory and clutter the browser.
I was actually surprised myself of how many bookmarks I've got. There really don't seem that much and all of them are nicely organized.
