I can get a Sega Dreamcast, all the cords, controller, VMU, and two games (With packaging and manuals), for about $80 CAD (That includes shipping). (From jjgames.com - a legit site I have used many times)

I have roughly $200, and have been saving up for the 3DS, but I can most likely save up enough for the 3DS and a game by the end of March, or beginning of April. I just wont be able to pre-order, like I had planned.

So, should I add another classic console to my very young collection, or wait until after I buy the 3DS?

Oh my god the Dreamcast is a FANTASTIC system. I love it. I don't have one anymore unfortunately, but I would wait till after the 3DS.

I have an Xbox 360 and PS3 already.

The best games are on older consoles. Like the Dreamcast, Nintendo 64, NES, Genesis, Atari 2600, SNES, etc.

That is like someone asking if they should get Windows XP and someone suggests Vista...

I just picked one up at Player's Choice http://www.playerschoicevideogames.com/cat_dreamcast.cfm

It was in mint condition
