Well, you're automatically implying that the world is going to end in an hour. You should be telling it in a different point of view. "If" needs to be a word included in that statement. It should look more like this:
"If the world is going to end in an hour, how would you spend that hour?"

Can you see where I'm going with that? It's sort of like a question that says, "Are you still beating your wife?" Do you see how it automatically implies that you are beating your wife to begin with? So if you answer it yes, you admit that you are still beating your wife; however, if you say no, you're admitting that you have beaten your wife.

There is an apocryphal story of a variant of this question being asked to St. Francis of Assisi. Francis was out working in his garden when one of his students asked him, "What would you do if you knew that you were going to die tomorrow?" Without hesitating, Francis replied, "Continue working in my garden."

If I were to do something different on my last day on earth, that would imply that my previous days were lived less than optimally. When we love someone we should let them know now, not wait for some future time to say it. If we have a good idea, we should act on that idea rather than tell ourselves that it isn't so good or that it can wait until tomorrow. If we see the need to help someone or help make our corner of the world a little bit better, we should do so no rather than wait for some future time that may not come.

If that's true than I spent my entire life in school. Why not finish it there? lol
