Has Angry Birds gone over the top?

Do you mean "over the top" with OTT?

If you know what a success game it is on the iOS platform, then I think it's an obvious chose to spread to other platforms. But I don't know what to think about the movie and the TV show, we'll have to wait and see.

I'll be perfectly honest - I want the board game. I get the feeling that would be a killer party game. A 360 game would be awesome as well, but I'd like to see more than just a port of the Iphone/BB/Palm game. Make it 3d, more complex structures to knock down, more lethal bird combos, etc.

Why woudl they stop? They are making money on it.

They are just expanding now the TV show is a bit over board and the stuffed animals are kind of cool, maybe get one for my dog..... I don't know how the board game will work....

The TV series might be a stretch, but expanding to another handhelds, phones, consoles, and computers is great for the developers.

Being on more systems = More money.

Fair play to them, milk it dry the hype won't last forever. Every other company would do the same. Its only OTT when people finally get bored with Angry Birds which they will eventually.

I wouldn't say over the top. It's a very good game and has a huge user-base. So it might as well expand while it can. Why not? They are going to be making more money and becoming more popular by making the animated series. There is no reason they shouldn't.

So where do you get the game for PC?

Angry Birds over the top? Never! I guess maybe it is a little overwhelming.

They're just trying to capitalize on a product that, in my opinion, is becoming old. If I was them I'd focus less on capitalizing on a game that will lose popularity really fast and focus on developing other games that they can capitalize on.

I have Angry Birds on iPhone, PSP, and the iPad! I would love to play it on the Wii, Mac and PC! Has it gone to far? Maybe... the tv show will probably look like the other video games that went to tv. This is similar to Pokeman, Sonic the Hedgehog and others.
