Does anyone know of any Audio Boosters for XP, that can get my volume louder than it goes up to now. I'm not really satisfied with how loud it is.

Thanks so much.

The volume problem may not be software related it could be hardware related. A new sound card may help or you may need to get a different set of speakers.

it is probably limited by your hardware... if you want to do a little project you can make a booster for cheep

Its called an op-amp. Here is a high fidelity one, you will need to use two, one for right and one for left

what is not shown on the diagram is the chips need to be powered with both a + 15V and -15V creating a total differential of 30V. This will assure maximum amplification and a reduced pops, I would recommend on reading up on op amps to learn more about them but it should be a fun little project

here is a part i would use with an example of how to use it. This one is also a high fidelity opamp so your sound should not deteriorate.
