I am making my first PSD to DreamWeaver site.

I am stuck on how to add text over an image.

Thats my image in a table, Not in the background.

Do you mean you hover over and it says something? For instance you have a logo and when you hover over it next to your mouse pops up Logo? Because if that's what you mean you just add title="LOGO" to your image src.

If you want to add text over it you have to make the image the background image in the table then add text in HTML. Can you expand on your problem and what you want to do?

So add it in a table background?

Yes, set the images as the background of the table.

^I'm pretty sure that's it, it may not though.

Then you just write inside the table.

Using Background images with text on top for:

Table:

<table width="200" border="1">
  <tr>
    <td background="../Pictures/000_0004.JPG">Some text </td>
  </tr>
</table>

Layer:

<div id="Layer3" class="style3" style="position:absolute; width:1027px; height:87px; z-index:2; background-image: url(../Pictures/2010-11-30-143034.jpg); layer-background-image: url(../Pictures/2010-11-30-143034.jpg); border: 1px none #000000; left: 0px; top: -87px;">
    <p class="style5"><span class="style12">some text</span> <span class="style8">Hsome more text</span> </p>
  </div>

Have fun!
