I am currently using a very very limited DSL connection. When I am trying to download larger files I want to be able to utilize as much of my available bandwidth as possible. I was just wondering if anyone knows of a free program that can show you the band width usage of the current processes I have running? In order to free up as much as I can. Thanks. |

if you use windows, netmon can allow you to check the bandwidth usage of every program running |

I use the resource monitor that comes with Windows (at least 7). There you can easily see how much a program is writing/reading the disc, how much its loading the CPU and RAM. And of course how much it uses up your bandwidth and where it's connected to. All kids of cool data. :) (Just type resource monitor in the Windows orb's search thingy) |

What operating system are you using?
